Your intuition is your first line of defense in a world that is designed to pummel you to bits. It is then the inexplicable voice in your head which tells you what not to do, and where not to step when faced with a tricky situation.
Of course, right then and there it is well-nigh impossible to know the reason behind your conscientious decision, but more often than not it does work out. This is because you are the best judge of yourself and it is obvious hence that your intuition knows you only too well; consequently, when it comes to saving you trouble, this sixth sense of yours is your best bet and in essence your first bet.
So the cues it gives you might be cryptic, but they work all right. So, next time you notice yourself talking to yourself, and saying these five things, remember to pay attention to them. They are cues your intuition or gut or sixth sense is sending you, prompting you to take a step back and obey for your own good.
So here are the five signals from your intuition that you should never ignore:
- “I don’t feel so well all of a sudden.”
Ever fallen sick just when you are about to do something? Well, it’s a cue; one of the biggest ever. It is that intangible, immeasurable rumbly feeling in your body that warns you to not do what you are about to do.
This is also one of the simplest of ways the body lets you know that it is not comfortable with what you are about to do. If you have a history of talking to yourself subconsciously (meaning that your intuition is fairly strong) do not ignore these subtle hints.
Also, pay attention to how you feel talking about things with someone you like/know well enough.
- “I shouldn’t be doing this.”
This is one of the simpler ones, again. This happens when you are about to do something that you wouldn’t normally do; when you knowingly walk out of your zone of comfort.
This is also one of the markers of you growing as a person and actually delving into unchartered territory as an individual. So, next time you find the voice telling you this, think again, think deeper and decide what to do.
- “I have to do this for him/her.”
Intuition and empathy are things that go hand-in-hand. This is because both types of individuals are naturally more sensitive towards their surroundings.
Intuitive individuals can sense troubles for other as well and have this innate urge to help others with their gift. This is one of the many markers of greatness as well and to be sure, intuition and intelligence are one of the biggest signs of future greatness.
- “I was born to do this.”
Remember Jake Sully from Avatar? Remember how he knew at once that he was born to fly the mountain banshee once he braved it?
That is how intuitive people feel once thy find their calling in life; when they have braved something out of their comfort zone. The dopamine release in something like that is beyond reckoning.
The feeling is amazing and your body responds to it with vigour and happiness.
- “The pieces fit.”
Intuitive people have a thing for symmetrical perfection and completeness. This feeling of being in the “just right” position is one they live and die for.
This is also true for their relationships. More often than not, they can correctly gauge if a relationship will last or not and they tend to half-ass things if they do not find themselves saying “it’s just right” to themselves early on in the relationship.
If however, they do, they give it their soul.
